How To Measure a Pool Filter Cartridge

A. Measure the outside diameter ( O.D.) of the cartridge in inches. (+/- 1/16)

B. Measure the overall length of the cartridge in inches (+/- 1/16), including the end caps. Do not include strings, handles. A more accurate measurement is made by measuring through the center of the cartridge when possible.

C. If the top and/or bottom are open, measure the inside diameter of the opening (+/- 1/16 in.). The end cap configuration should match the product you select (see product image).

D. Make note of the manufacturer (OEM) and model number of your filter.

E. Take note whether or not there is a center core (PVC pipe in center). As extra assurance you could count the pleats within the media (+/-4).
