How To Measure a Pool Filter Cartridge
|
How to measure a pool filter cartridge.
Find your replacement pool filter cartridge for your pool filter by following these instructions for measuring.

A. Measure the outside diameter (
O.D.) of the pool filter cartridge in inches. (+/- 1/16)
B. Measure the overall length of the pool cartridge in inches (+/- 1/16), including the end caps. Do not include strings, handles. A more accurate measurement is made by measuring through the center of the cartridge when possible.
C. If the top and/or bottom are open, measure the inside diameter of the opening (+/- 1/16 in.). The end cap configuration should match the product you select (see product image).
D. Make note of the manufacturer (OEM) and model number of your pool filter.
E. Take note whether or not there is a center core (PVC pipe in center). As extra assurance you could count the pleats within the media (+/-4).
